     A-1 Thee Assas'n is an American entrepreneur, musician, and business owner born in the city of Portland, Oregon. He is the founder and C.E.O. of Black Heart Music Entertainment as well as Black Heart Music Publishing (ASCAP). He also owns an audio engineering company (Workaholic Audio Engineering), a musical production company (A1DidThat), and a slew of online shops that offer everything from marketing services to digital downloads to website designing. Other companies are said to be in the planning phase and should be opened in the near future.

     A-1 Thee Assas'n may be known for his hardcore hip-hop style of flow but he is also an audio engineer, graphics designer, record producer, publisher, and songwriter with credits in many different genres of music. He has worked with so many musicians during his career that his name is already well known within the music industry and his reputation has become that of "the secret weapon".

     Over the years A-1 Thee Assas'n has amassed a staggering number of album sales, downloads, and press recognition, not to mention millions of streams verified by ASCAP.

     A-1 has been a factor in the underground hip-hop scene for a while now... Over twenty years, and counting. He is finally ready to emerge with an arsenal of clever punchlines and lyrical wordplay that even the great artist of today respect him for. "HALF ANGEL EP"
After almost 5 years of sitting in prison, A-1 Thee Assas'n has been released and has returned to the studio ON FIRE and producing head bangers like only he can!!
The HALF ANGEL EP represents A-1's first major release in over 5 years now, and boy oh boy, I guarantee you that it was worth the wait.
The 6 songs included within feature artist like Cam'ron from Dipset, Noon, Vidal Garcia, ALK2, and OG Eddie MF Kane, as well as production from Legion Beats, Anno Domini Nation, and J-Stack Productions.
This EP chronicles the painful memories and true events that lead up to his latest incarceration. Testimonies of revenge and betrayal as well as his experience as the victim of an attempted murder perpetrated by his very own friends who tried to rob and kill him in his home. But no matter the song or subject, EVERY TRACK ON THIS PROJECT IS PURE HEAT!!!
The amount of detail and precision involved in the creation of A-1's unique sound for this project is extremely impressive. The EP has a rugged and rough yet completely mastered sound that keeps A-1 Thee Assas'n authentic to his underground roots, which his early fans who know how great his mixtapes were will appreciate. Honestly, tho this release is classified as an EP, I would give it a 5-Star album rating!! That's how well put together it is. In a world of artist that all have a similar sound, hardcore music fans everywhere will definitely love A-1's unique style and lyrical delivery.
